Ants don't have gills.The are smaller than birds. Ants are likely to to be found in pantry crawling near sugar. Sometimes they are also found on the beach.  Ant is a hymenopterous insect, they are also known by the name emmet and pismire. Other types of ants are: Slave make ant, carpenter ant, wood ant, bulldog ant, fire ant, army ant, slave ant, mountant, pharaoh ant,white ant, bull ant, thief ant, nuisance ants, mound-building ants etc.,
